Live music is thankfully back at Cherry every weekend. And on Friday April 2nd, we’re hosting the rescheduled launch of Riff Raiders sophomore LP.
With a hometown (Melbourne) traditionally known as a breeding ground for quality riffage, Riff Raiders have burst out said gene pool replete a twin guitar attack, rhythm section reflecting the pedigree and strong female vocals!
Released at the peak of worldwide lockdowns in 2020, Rock’n’Roll Daydream is the band’s second album, featuring eleven tracks of rock’n’roll goodness. Riff Raiders are Jenni Powell (vocals), Marty Powell (lead guitars/songwriter), Josh King (guitars / BVs), Ron E. Smith (bass) and Ross Hetherington (drums).
During the cold, hard winter of 2020 the band released 5 videos for tracks from Rock’n’Roll Daydream and wasted no time after being set free in getting new music ready. The band released the song WALK OF SHAME on 21 Feb 21, a track set to appear on an upcoming Rue Morgue Records compilation.
