Mood Spill

Mood Spill is playing their first Naarm/Melbourne show at the iconic Cherry Bar. Mood Spill will be coming off a run of festival appearances at Winter Magic Festival (Katoomba, NSW), Tannamon Valley (Yamba, NSW) and Relish Festival (Bellingen NSW) – this will be the band’s first headline show, with supports from the amazing Maddy Petch and whimsical Ty La Moonchild.

Mood Spill is a Naarm/Melbourne-based indie rock band with folk roots comprised of Tom Riccioni, Adrian Verna, Bailey Brown, and Oli Morley-Sattler.   As a four piece each performer brings a raw emotion and playful presence to their live shows, with soaring guitars that will melt you into a liquid form, a rhythm section that will bring your mood to boil, all topped up with rich vocal harmonies, and lyrical whimsy.

Maddy Petch is a Melbourne born singer songwriter of the indie-pop vein who’s storytelling explores the transparency of human truths with a brazen voice, broad chords and rainbow melodies. With figures such as Angie McMahon, Middle Kids and Ainslie Wills behind her sound, Petch casts a line out to those willing to brave the loud and the quiet moments with her.

Ty La Moonchild is a Neo-soul diva – experiencing a Ty La performance is a fine mix of being floored by her vocal prowess whilst also taking to the d-floor with the tasty grooves of Ty La’s tunes.
